Children

The Boardwalk (8 months - Kindergarten):
The Boardwalk is privileged to come alongside parents and partner in the growth of your children in the areas of faith, character and understanding God. The message is simple. We want your little ones to know that God loves them, God made them and Jesus wants to be their friend forever. We are honored to be a part of your little ones “first look” at God. Our curriculum “My First Look” uses engaging activities and interactive Bible stories to introduce preschoolers to God. All volunteers and staff working with children are interviewed, trained and fingerprinted.
Infants:
Our Infant classrooms for children 8 weeks through 23 months are among the most unique places in the church. Between changing diapers, rocking, snacking and playing, there are small windows of opportunity to teach these little ones about the love of God. Our goal is simple. We want each child to feel loved and cared for while their parents enjoy the worship service.
2- Kindergarten:
Two to five year olds are inquisitive, that’s for sure! They often learn best by using their five senses, and so we give them time to build with blocks, create with play dough, play with an assortment of toys, and of course, discover art in some new and creative ways! Worship and Bible stories help them understand how and why we praise God, while Bible memorization helps them take the message with them wherever they go!
Pier 13 and Club 45 (1st - 3rd and 4th - 5th grades):
Our mission is to lead children into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We want to partner with families to ensure that their children grow in faith and character. We want every child to know three basic truths: I need to make the wise choice, I can trust God no matter what and I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
Every month in elementary, we study one of God's Big Ideas. The Big Idea is a Godly virtue that every parent wants their child to know; characteristics such as honesty, respect and patience. In Pier 13 and Club 45 we communicate God's Big Idea through worship, drama, storytelling and small groups.
Club 45:
Club 45 provides an opportunity for 5th & 6th graders to maximize two of the most influential years of their life. We partner with parents to help your youth dig deeper as they grow spiritually while building new friendships and having a great time! We want to challenge them to grow in their faith, serve Christ and share His love with others.
When and Where:
Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, from 6:30 to 8pm. Our first meeting will be Wednesday February 13th.
